My name is Alyse Monroy and I am a social science teacher. This is my third year in the clasroom and I have taught World History, US History, AP Us History, Economics, Government, and AVID for grades 10-12. My favorite subjects have been US History and Economics. In addition to teaching, I also coach Cross Country and Track and Field.
Prior to being an educator, I served in the United States Army for 8 years and my time in service taught me to have more pacient, think under pressure, and to be able to work a wide variety of conditions. There are definetly times where I feel like I am reaching back into that time of life in order to be my best for my students.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time my family and pets.
